I. Product Overview
Color coated steel coil, full name color coated steel sheet coil, is a composite metal coating material made ofcold-rolled, hot-dip galvanized, hot-dip aluminized zinc, zinc-aluminum-magnesium and other steel sheets as the base plate, through surface pretreatment (degreasing, phosphating, passivation) and roller coating baking. It has the advantages of high strength, corrosion resistance, beautiful decoration, easy processing, no need for repainting, and long service life. It is the core material for steel structure buildings, home appliances, decoration and transportation industries, and can be customized in material, model, size and surface style according to customer needs.
II. Base Plate Material Classification, Model and Corresponding Dimensions
All base plate models comply with standards such as GB/T 12754-2019 and EN 10143. Regular sizes are available in stock, and special sizes support custom production. Details are as follows:
Cold-Rolled Base Plate (CR)
Material Model: SPCC, SPCD, SPCE (classified by stamping grade)
Regular Dimensions: Thickness 0.17-1.2mm, Width 1000/1200/1250/1500mm, Coil Inner Diameter 508mm, Coil Weight 3-6 tons/coil
Application: Smooth surface and good toughness, mostly used for indoor decoration, home appliance inner panels and ordinary interior decoration, not suitable for outdoor exposure environment
Hot-Dip Galvanized Base Plate (GI/Z)
Material Model: DC51D+Z, DC52D+Z, DC53D+Z (classified by forming grade); Coating Model Z80, Z120, Z180, Z275 (coating weight g/㎡, double-sided)
Regular Dimensions: Thickness 0.35-2.0mm, Width 1000/1200/1250/1500mm, Coil Inner Diameter 508/610mm, Coil Weight 3-8 tons/coil
Application: Galvanized coating for corrosion protection, cost-effective, commonly used for roofs and walls of conventional factories and warehouses, suitable for medium corrosion environment
Hot-Dip Aluminized Zinc Base Plate (GL/AZ)
Material Model: DC51D+AZ, DC52D+AZ, DC53D+AZ; Coating Model AZ100, AZ150, AZ200 (coating weight g/㎡, double-sided, 55% Al-Zn alloy)
Regular Dimensions: Thickness 0.35-1.5mm, Width 1000/1200/1250/1500mm, Coil Inner Diameter 508mm, Coil Weight 4-7 tons/coil
Application: Weather resistance and corrosion resistance are far superior to galvanizing, high temperature resistance up to 490℃, suitable for coastal and high sun exposure outdoor projects, preferred for high-end buildings
Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium Base Plate (ZM)
Material Model: DC51D+ZM, DC52D+ZM; Coating Model ZM100, ZM120, ZM150 (coating weight g/㎡, double-sided, Zn-Al-Mg alloy)
Regular Dimensions: Thickness 0.4-1.2mm, Width 1000/1200/1250mm, Coil Inner Diameter 508mm, Coil Weight 3-6 tons/coil
Application: Self-healing cut, heavy corrosion protection, special for chemical industry and coastal high corrosion environment, service life is more than 30% longer than AZ base plate
Electro-Galvanized Base Plate (EG)
Material Model: SECC, SECDE (classified by surface grade); Coating Thickness 5-10μm (double-sided)
Regular Dimensions: Thickness 0.17-0.8mm, Width 1000/1200mm, Coil Inner Diameter 508mm, Coil Weight 2-5 tons/coil
Application: Uniform and delicate coating, suitable for high-end home appliances, precision sheet metal interior decoration and scenes with high requirements for surface decoration

Coating models comply with GB/T 2518-2019 standard, and coating thickness can be customized according to needs. Details are as follows:
PE Polyester
Coating Model: PE-Regular Type, PE-Weather Resistant Type
Coating Thickness: Top Coat 18-25μm, Primer 5-8μm, Back Coat 5-10μm
Service Life: 7-10 years outdoors, more than 15 years indoors
Application: Economical type with good formability, suitable for ordinary factories, temporary buildings and indoor decoration
SMP Silicon-Modified Polyester
Coating Model: SMP-Standard Type, SMP-High Hardness Type
Coating Thickness: Top Coat 20-28μm, Primer 5-8μm, Back Coat 8-10μm
Service Life: 10-15 years outdoors
Application: Weather resistance and scratch resistance are better than PE, suitable for industrial factories, steel structure enclosures and roofs/walls of mid-range buildings
HDP High Weather Resistant Polyester
Coating Model: HDP-Regular Type, HDP-Ultraviolet Resistant Type
Coating Thickness: Top Coat 25-35μm, Primer 6-8μm, Back Coat 8-10μm
Service Life: 15-20 years outdoors
Application: UV resistant and fade resistant, suitable for high-end factories, photovoltaic roofs, municipal engineering and coastal light corrosion environment
PVDF Fluorocarbon
Coating Model: PVDF-Standard Type (PVDF content ≥70%), PVDF-Self-Cleaning Type
Coating Thickness: Top Coat 30-40μm, Primer 8-10μm, Back Coat 10-12μm
Service Life: More than 20 years outdoors
Application: Super weather resistant, self-cleaning and corrosion resistant, suitable for airports, exhibition halls, coastal landmark buildings and high corrosion environment
PU Polyurethane
Coating Model: PU-Flexible Type, PU-Wear Resistant Type
Coating Thickness: Top Coat 20-30μm, Primer 5-8μm, Back Coat 5-8μm
Service Life: 15-20 years indoors, not recommended for long-term outdoor exposure
Application: High flexibility and wear resistance, mostly used for home appliance shells, furniture sheet metal and indoor precision decoration
IV. Coating Structure and Applicable Dimension Range
2/1 Structure: 2 layers on the front (primer + top coat) and 1 layer on the back (back coat), with good adhesion
Applicable Dimensions: Thickness 0.35-1.0mm, Width 1000-1500mm, suitable for composite use of sandwich panels
2/1M Structure: Optimized coating on both front and back (primer + top coat on front, primer + back coat on back), one-time baking, excellent corrosion resistance and formability
Applicable Dimensions: Thickness 0.35-1.5mm, Width 1000-1500mm, universal for profiled sheets and sandwich panels
2/2 Structure: 2 layers on both front and back (primer + top coat), secondary baking, stronger scratch resistance and corrosion resistance
Applicable Dimensions: Thickness 0.4-2.0mm, Width 1000-1500mm, special for single-layer roofs and walls, not suitable for composite use of sandwich panels
V. Regular Specification Parameters (Custom Special Sizes Available)
Thickness: Regular 0.35, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 1.0mm; Range 0.17mm-2.0mm (custom size can have ±0.02mm error)
Width: Regular 1000mm, 1200mm, 1250mm, 1500mm; Customizable arbitrary width from 600-1500mm, slitting accuracy ±1mm
Coil Inner Diameter: Standard 508mm, customizable 610mm (adapting to different processing equipment)
Coil Weight: Regular 3-8 tons/coil, can be customized according to customer requirements (2-10 tons), convenient for transportation and processing
Length: Calculated by thickness, example: 0.5mm×1250mm coil, single coil length is about 500-600m (adjustable on demand)

Surface styles can adapt to all regular and custom sizes, and colors can be customized according to Pantone color card number. Details are as follows:
Gloss Type: Glossy (gloss ≥70°), Semi-Glossy (40°–70°), Matte (＜40°), adaptable to all thicknesses/widths
Printed Type: Wood grain, Stone grain, Camouflage, regularly adaptable to width 1000/1220/1250mm, thickness 0.4-0.8mm
Special Surface: Embossed (mesh pattern, orange peel pattern), High Scratch Resistance, Velvet Surface, adaptable to thickness 0.35-1.0mm, width 1000-1250mm
Regular Colors: Sea Blue (RAL 5010), Light Gray (RAL 7035), Scarlet (RAL 3020), Dark Green (RAL 6005), Ivory White (RAL 1013), Silver Gray (RAL 7001)
VII. Mechanical Grade and Dimension Adaptation
Mechanical grades correspond to different processing needs, and the applicable dimensions are as follows, all complying with GB/T 12754-2019 standard:
TDC51D: Ordinary forming grade, adaptable to thickness 0.35-1.0mm, can meet simple bending and cutting, used for conventional building interior decoration
TS280GD: Low strength grade, adaptable to thickness 0.4-1.2mm, used for light processing scenarios (such as enclosures, ventilation ducts)
TS350GD: Medium strength grade, adaptable to thickness 0.5-1.5mm, can meet bending and profiling, used for factory roofs and walls
TS420GD: High strength grade, adaptable to thickness 0.6-2.0mm, used for heavy-duty scenarios (such as floor bearing plates, equipment casings)
TS550GD: Ultra-high strength grade, adaptable to thickness 0.8-2.0mm, used for high load-bearing and impact-resistant scenarios (such as containers, carriages)
General Parameters: Tensile strength 300-550MPa (by grade), elongation ≥18%, temper degree T2.5/T3/T4 (customizable)

Slitting, leveling and film coating can be done according to customer requirements, with a minimum order quantity of 1 ton, supporting trade terms such as FOB and CIF.
