H-Beam Product Detailed Description
1. General Overview
H-beam is a high-efficiency economic structural steel with an H-shaped cross-section, composed of parallel upper and lower flanges and a vertical web. Compared with ordinary I-beam, it features optimized cross-section distribution, reasonable strength-to-weight ratio, high bending resistance, light self-weight, steel saving and convenient construction. It is widely used in steel structure buildings, bridges, equipment supports and other engineering fields.

National Standard: GB/T 11263-2017 (Hot-rolled H-beam and split T-beam)
Common Material Standards: Q235B (GB/T 700), Q355B/C/D (GB/T 1591)
Dimensional Deviation: Compliant with GB/T 714-2015
3. Classification & Specifications
3.1 Classification by Flange Width
Wide Flange H-Beam (HW): Flange width is close to section height, with balanced stress bearing. Mainly used for load-bearing columns, structural steel columns and frame columns.
Medium Flange H-Beam (HM): Suitable for frame columns, dynamic load beams and equipment platforms.
Narrow Flange H-Beam (HN): Excellent bending resistance, widely applied in structural beams, purlins and wall supports.
Pile H-Beam (HP): With thickened flange and web, specially designed for steel piles, foundation support and underground engineering.
3.2 Classification by Production Process
Hot-rolled H-Beam: Formed by high-temperature rolling, with stable quality, accurate dimension and standard specifications.
Welded H-Beam: Custom welded by flange plate and web plate, available for super-large cross-section customization to meet special heavy-load requirements.

7. Surface Treatment & Packaging
Surface Treatment: Hot rolled original surface, rust removal, anti-rust paint coating, hot-dip galvanizing.
Packaging: Bundled in tons, marked with model, material and heat number; covered with tarpaulin for sea and land transportation to prevent moisture and corrosion.
8. Delivery Cycle
The delivery cycle of conventional specifications is 5-7 days. Custom welded H-beam can be produced on demand with flexible delivery time.
