Angle Steel Product Detailed Description
1. Product Overview
Angle steel, also known as angle iron, is a long steel material with two sides perpendicular to each other at 90 degrees in an L-shaped cross-section, belonging to simple section section steel. As a basic material for construction and machinery manufacturing, it features stable structure, high strength, easy processing, convenient connection and cost-effectiveness. It can be made into various load-bearing components and connecting parts, meeting the engineering demands of multiple scenarios.
2. Product Classification
2.1 By Side Dimension
Equal Angle Steel: With two equal sides, marked as "∠Side Width × Thickness (mm)", such as ∠50×50×5. The model is numbered by side width in centimeters, ranging from 2# to 20#.
Unequal Angle Steel: With two sides of different lengths, including equal-thickness and unequal-thickness types. Specifications are marked as "∠Long Side × Short Side × Thickness (mm)", such as ∠100×80×8, with model range from 3.2/2# to 20/12.5#.
2.2 By Production Process
Hot Rolled Angle Steel: The mainstream product, formed by high-temperature rolling with surface oxide scale. It has balanced strength and toughness, widely used in heavy structures such as buildings and bridges, complying with GB/T 706-2016.
Cold Formed Angle Steel: Cold-bent at room temperature with uniform wall thickness, high surface precision and small dimensional deviation. It is mainly applied to light-duty structures and decoration projects, complying with GB/T 6723-2017.
2.3 By Material Grade
Carbon Structural Steel: Q235B, Q275B, in line with GB/T 700.
High Strength Low Alloy Steel: Q355B/C/D/E, with excellent low-temperature toughness, complying with GB/T 1591.
Special Materials: Weathering steel and other customized materials for harsh corrosive environments.

Equal Angle Steel: Side width 20–200mm, thickness 3–24mm, standard length 4–12m (custom fixed length available).
Unequal Angle Steel: Long side 32–200mm, short side 20–125mm, thickness 3–20mm, length 4–12m.
