I. Product Overview
Petroleum cracking pipes are core seamless steel pipes specially used in cracking reaction units during petroleum refining. They are mainly made of high-quality carbon structural steel and alloy structural steel through multiple refined processes such as precision smelting, hot working, cold drawing/cold rolling, heat treatment and non-destructive testing. Its core characteristics are high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, corrosion resistance and impact resistance, with smooth and impurity-free inner walls, uniform wall thickness, high dimensional accuracy, and no defects such as sand holes, cracks and oxide scales. It can operate stably for a long time under working conditions of high temperature (200-600℃), high pressure (10-50MPa) and corrosive media such as sulfur and hydrogen. Compared with ordinary seamless steel pipes, petroleum cracking pipes have strict requirements on material purity, mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. They are indispensable key pressure-bearing pipeline materials in petroleum refining and chemical production, and are widely used in core units such as catalytic cracking, hydrocracking and delayed coking.
II. Core Production Process
Raw material inspection (chemical composition and mechanical property testing) → billet smelting → hot piercing billet making → cold drawing/cold rolling precision processing → normalizing/annealing/quenching and tempering heat treatment → precision derusting and passivation treatment of inner and outer walls → fixed-length cutting → non-destructive testing (eddy current, ultrasonic, hydrostatic test) → dimensional accuracy verification → surface anti-corrosion treatment → packaging and warehousing. Refined control is implemented throughout the whole process, focusing on controlling billet purity, heat treatment process and wall thickness deviation to ensure the high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance and dimensional consistency of the pipeline, so as to meet the harsh requirements of petroleum cracking working conditions.

Supplementary Note: Non-standard specifications can be customized according to customer's actual needs. The outer diameter can be extended to 32mm—530mm, the wall thickness can be extended to 3.0mm—30mm, the length can be customized to any size from 2m to 12m, and the dimensional tolerance can be adjusted to ±0.03mm (ultra-high precision), which is suitable for the installation needs of special working conditions.

V. Specification Parameters (General Supplement)
Dimensional Tolerance: Regular high precision ±0.05mm—0.10mm, ultra-high precision can be customized to ±0.03mm, roundness ≤0.02mm/m, straightness ≤0.2mm/m, wall thickness uniformity ≤0.1mm
Surface Condition: Pickled and passivated surface (no oxide scale, no burrs, no rust), cold-drawn bright surface (Ra≤0.8μm), smooth inner wall without impurities, small medium flow resistance, which can effectively prevent coking and blockage
Delivery Condition: According to the material and working condition requirements, various delivery conditions such as normalizing, annealing and quenching and tempering (HRC 28-32) are provided. The heat treatment process can be customized to ensure that the high temperature resistance and creep resistance of the pipeline meet the standards
End Treatment: Plain end (no burrs), beveled end (30°/37.5°, suitable for welding), threaded end (BSP/NPT standard, with protective cap), and the treatment method can be customized according to installation needs

Supplementary Note: Mechanical properties can be adjusted according to heat treatment processes to meet the strength and toughness requirements of different temperature and pressure working conditions. The product has excellent high pressure resistance. Conventional materials can withstand 10-30MPa pressure, and special materials (Cr5Mo) can be customized to withstand more than 50MPa pressure. It has qualified hydrogen embrittlement resistance and sulfur corrosion resistance, and is suitable for long-term operation under harsh working conditions.

X. Packaging and Delivery
Packaging Method: The inner and outer walls are evenly coated with special anti-corrosion and anti-rust oil, the ports are covered with PE plastic protective caps (anti-collision and anti-rust), bundled with galvanized steel strips, and wrapped with moisture-proof wrapping film on the outside; for medium and large-diameter pipes, fumigated wooden pallets, non-fumigated pallets or wooden box packaging can be customized, which is fully suitable for long-distance transportation such as sea, land and air transportation, preventing collision and rust during transportation.
