Forged Steel Grinding Balls – High Hardness, High Impact Toughness, Low Breakage
Product Description
Forged steel grinding balls are manufactured by hot-rolling or hot-forging from premium alloy steel rounds, followed by quenching and tempering. They offer high hardness, excellent impact toughness, and low breakage rate, ideal for ball mills and SAG mills in mining, cement and thermal power plants.

- Surface Hardness: 55 – 67 HRC
- Core Hardness: 50 – 63 HRC
- Hardness Difference (surface to core): ≤5 HRC
- Impact Toughness: ≥12 J/cm²

- Falling Ball Test: ≥20,000 times
- Microstructure: Tempered Martensite + Bainite
- Heat Treatment: Quenching + Tempering
