4. Material & Structure Details 

4.1 Main Material Configuration

  • Body & Bonnet: Choose from WCB (carbon steel), CF8 (cast stainless steel 304), or CF8M (cast stainless steel 316) for optimal pressure and corrosion resistance.

  • Filter Screen: 2Cr13, SS304, or SS316 mesh, offering high strength, corrosion resistance, and long service life.

  • Internal Plug: Carbon steel for reliable structural support and sealing cooperation.

  • Sealing Gasket: Graphite (high temp), EPDM (general), or NBR (oil resistance) to suit different media.

4.2 Working Principle

Fluid enters the Y-type strainer body through the inlet flange, flows through the filter basket, and solid impurities are retained on the screen. When cleaning is required, simply close the upstream valve, remove the cover bolts, take out the basket, rinse the dirt, and reinstall it. The entire process is simple and does not require special tools.
