I. Product Overview
Galvanized steel pipe is a welded or seamless steel pipe made from hot-rolled or cold-rolled steel pipe as the base material. A uniform and dense zinc layer is formed on the surface through a hot-dip galvanizing process, significantly improving its rust resistance, corrosion resistance, and weather resistance. The product combines the structural strength of steel pipe with the protective performance of the zinc layer, and is widely used in water supply and drainage, gas transmission, fire protection pipelines, steel structures, power wiring, municipal engineering, and outdoor equipment. It has a long service life, is easy to install, and has low maintenance costs.
II. Product Features
Excellent Corrosion and Rust Resistance: The hot-dip galvanized layer has strong adhesion, is resistant to acids and alkalis, and is moisture-resistant, making it suitable for highly corrosive environments such as outdoor, underground, and coastal areas.
High Strength and Rigidity: The base material can be ordinary carbon steel or low-alloy high-strength steel, providing strong pressure resistance and resistance to deformation and cracking.
High Dimensional Accuracy: Stable inner and outer diameter tolerances, smooth pipe ends, facilitating threading, grooving, welding, and flange connections.
High Versatility: Compatible with various pipe fittings, valves, and supports, resulting in high construction efficiency and wide applicability.
Environmentally Friendly and Safe
The zinc coating is non-toxic and pollution-free, suitable for projects with high hygiene and safety requirements, such as drinking water and fire protection.

V. Common Materials and Corresponding Standards
1. Q235: Domestic ordinary carbon structural steel, high cost performance, good weldability, suitable for general low-pressure fluid and structural pipes.
2. Q355 (formerly Q345): Low-alloy high-strength structural steel, with strength higher than Q235, suitable for load-bearing structures, pressure pipelines, and heavy-duty supports.
3. S235JR: European standard carbon structural steel, equivalent to Q235, suitable for engineering and mechanical equipment structures in the European market.
4. S355JR: European standard high-strength structural steel, equivalent to Q355, used for heavy-duty, low-temperature, and high-requirement structural components.
5. A36: American standard carbon structural steel, internationally used, mostly for export to North America and Southeast Asia engineering projects.
6. SS400: Japanese standard ordinary structural steel, equivalent to Q235/A36, mostly used for mechanical frames, supports, and non-standard equipment.
