Cr12MoV Round Steel
Cr12MoV round steel is the most widely used high-carbon and high-chromium cold work tool steel, featuring high wear resistance, high hardenability and minimal deformation. It is mainly used for manufacturing high-precision and long-life cold working dies.

II. Chemical Composition
Carbon: 1.45~1.70%, Silicon: ≤0.40%, Manganese: ≤0.40%, Chromium: 11.0~12.5%,
Molybdenum: 0.40~0.60%, Vanadium: 0.15~0.30%, Phosphorus and Sulfur: ≤0.030%
III. Core Properties
Hardness: 207~255 HBW in annealed state, ≥58~60 HRC after quenching and temperingHardenability: Fully hardenable for sections ≤ 300~400mmWear Resistance: 3-4 times that of ordinary low-alloy tool steelsThermal Stability: Softening temperature at approximately 520℃Toughness: Significantly improved compared with traditional Cr12 steel
