1. Product Overview
Channel steel is a long steel bar with a grooved (C-shaped) cross-section, categorized as complex section section steel. It is mainly applied in construction structures, machinery manufacturing, vehicles, curtain walls, brackets, etc., featuring excellent bending resistance, weldability and riveting performance.

By Production Process
Hot-rolled Common Channel Steel: Manufactured via high-temperature rolling, specifications ranging from 5# to 40#, with high strength and the widest application.
Cold-formed Light Channel Steel: Formed by cold bending, characterized by thin wall, light weight and high precision, suitable for light-duty structures.
By Specification Model
Expressed as waist height(h) × leg width(b) × waist thickness(d) (mm), e.g. 100×48×5.3 (10# channel steel).For products with the same waist height but different leg widths and waist thicknesses, marked with a/b/c (such as 25#a, 25#b, 25#c).
By Surface Treatment
Black Channel Steel (Raw Finish): Untreated, for indoor use or low anti-corrosion requirements.
Hot-dip Galvanized Channel Steel: Anti-corrosion galvanization, ideal for outdoor and acid-alkali resistant environments.
