       The daily maintenance of barrel-making equipment is very effective. It can effectively improve the working efficiency of the barrel-making equipment, extend its service life, keep the barrel body and barrel surface clean, and the markings are clear. You should often check for leaks, and the markings on the barrel surface should be clear. The barrels should be placed parallel, with the barrel bottom and barrel mouth facing outwards and upwards. Stack them on a pile of wood pads no more than three layers high.

    1. Operate gently

The operation of the hydraulic system of the barrel-making equipment should avoid roughness. Otherwise, it will generate impact loads, causing frequent equipment failures and greatly shortening its service life. The impact loads generated during operation will, on the one hand, cause early wear, fracture, and breakage of the mechanical structure of the equipment, and on the other hand, generate impact pressure in the hydraulic system, damaging the hydraulic components, causing premature failure of the oil seals and the crimping joints of high-pressure oil pipe joints and hoses, resulting in oil leakage or pipe bursting. Frequent actions of the relief valve will also cause the oil temperature to rise.

    2. Strictly implement the shift handover system

When the outgoing employee stops the equipment, they should ensure that the incoming employee can safely and conveniently check the equipment. The inspection contents include whether the hydraulic system leaks, whether the connections are loose, whether the piston rod and hydraulic hoses are damaged, whether the connection of the low-pressure inlet pipe of the hydraulic pump is reliable, and whether the oil level in the hydraulic oil tank is correct. In addition, for the normal-pressure hydraulic oil tank, the ventilation hole should also be checked and cleaned to keep it unobstructed, so as to prevent a certain degree of vacuum from occurring in the hydraulic oil tank due to the blockage of the air hole, which may cause difficulties in oil suction of the hydraulic pump or damage the pump.



    3. Maintain an appropriate hydraulic oil temperature

The working temperature of the hydraulic system of the barrel-making equipment is generally controlled between 30℃ and 80℃. An excessively high oil temperature in the hydraulic system will lead to the following problems: The viscosity of the hydraulic oil decreases, easily causing leakage and a decrease in efficiency; the strength of the lubricating oil film decreases, accelerating the wear of the machinery; carbides and sludge are generated; the oxidation of the oil accelerates, and the oil quality deteriorates; the oil seals and high-pressure hoses age prematurely, etc.

    4. Pay attention to cavitation and overflow noise

During the operation of the hydraulic system of the barrel-making equipment, always pay attention to the sounds of the hydraulic pump and the relief valve. If the hydraulic pump emits cavitation noise, the cause should be identified, and the equipment should be used after the fault is eliminated. If an actuator moves slowly without load and is accompanied by the sound of the relief valve overflowing, the equipment should be stopped immediately for maintenance.
