Thin-Walled Crossed Roller Bearings ORU 28
Product Spotlights
ORU series(one piece of inner and outer ring). Becasue the mounting holes are provided, it doesn' t need the presser flange or housing. Besides, it has an integrated inner and out ring structure. The performance is minimally affected by the mounting procedure, so it can ensure stable rotation accuracy and torque. This type can be used for both inner ring and outer ring rotation.
Structural features: The cross roller bearing is composed of cylindrical rollers that are arranged perpendicularly to each other on the rolling surface of the V-shaped groove through isolation blocks. Therefore, the cross roller bearing can withstand various loads in multiple directions, including radial load, axial load, and torque load. The dimensions of the inner and outer rings have been miniaturized, and the extremely thin form is even closer to the limit of a small size. It also has high rigidity and can achieve precision levels of P5, P4, and P2. Thus, it is suitable for the joint and rotating parts of industrial robots, the rotating table of machining centers, precision rotating worktables, medical machines, calculators, military industries, IC manufacturing equipment, and other devices.
Rotation accuracy: In the bearings, isolation blocks are installed between the vertically arranged rollers to prevent the rollers from tilting and from rubbing against each other, thereby reducing the rotational torque. Moreover, compared with the previous use of steel plate retainers, there will be no phenomenon of rollers contacting each other on one side or locking. At the same time, due to the two-segment structure of the inner ring (or outer ring), the bearing clearance can be adjusted. Even when pre-load is applied, high-precision rotational motion can be achieved.
Features of use: The segmented inner ring (or outer ring) is fixed together with the cross roller shaft ring after being installed with rollers and spacer retainers, to prevent separation from each other. Therefore, the installation of the cross roller shaft ring is simple. By using the spacer retainers, the mutual friction between the rollers is eliminated, preventing the rollers from tipping over, thus achieving a stable rotational torque. Due to the cross arrangement of the rollers, only one set of cross roller bearings is needed to bear the loads in all directions, which is 3.4 times more rigid than the traditional models.
