Product Overview

The electronic belt scale is a continuous, automatic weighing device for bulk materials on conveyor belts. Its key feature is the continuous and automated weighing process, typically requiring no operator intervention. It is widely used in industries such as power generation, ports, steel, chemicals, cement, coal, mining, and food.

The Saimo ICS-FH-4 four-idler electronic belt scale utilizes 2 sets of double-idler floating scale frames arranged in series, comprising 4 high-precision shear beam load cells. The weighing and speed signals can be converted from analog to digital on-site by the optional PLR-DS digital converter before being transmitted to the integrator.

Floating Balance Scale Frame Structure

The key to high-precision belt weighing lies in the weighing bridge accurately and completely transferring the material weight on the belt to the load cells, without any interfering forces. The Saimo ICS-FH series floating balance electronic belt scale (hereafter referred to as the floating balance scale) employs a unique free-floating balance structure mounted on the conveyor frame. Two load cells are installed at both ends of the load-bearing beam. Their force-receiving parts are cylindrical and connect to the idler support beams via universal joints. The two idler support beams are connected by two link beams, forming the complete weighing bridge. Two sets of weighing idler brackets are symmetrically mounted on the bridge relative to the load-bearing beam. The weighing idlers on these brackets transfer the material weight to the load cells.

Since the weighing bridge is connected only via the two universal joints to the load cells, the entire bridge can float freely around these joints. No interference forces or internal structural stresses exist. The weighing idlers on the bridge accurately and completely transfer the material weight to the load cells, achieving high-precision measurement.

This free-floating, balance structure, with its minimal force transmission path, no restraints, and direct connection, ensures accurate, reliable, and high-precision weighing. The placement of two load cells at the beam ends provides strong resistance to off-center loading and adaptability to wide belts and high speeds. The simple bridge structure allows for easy installation, requires no maintenance, and is the optimal equipment for high-precision conveyor weighing.
