The roller screen system primarily consists of four key components: the screening cylinder, drive mechanism, base structure, and feeding mechanism. The screening cylinder, the core component, is typically constructed from wear-resistant materials to ensure exceptional durability and service life. The drive mechanism, comprising a motor, reducer, and coupling, drives the cylinder's rotation. The base structure provides structural support for the entire unit, ensuring operational stability and safety. The feeding mechanism delivers coal into the screening cylinder for processing.
The working principle of a coal crusher drum screen is relatively straightforward. It primarily utilizes the rotation of the drum and the friction between coal and the drum to break down large coal particles into smaller sizes, then separates them through the screen mesh. During the drum's rotation, coal particles are subjected to both gravitational and centrifugal forces, causing continuous tumbling and collision. This process achieves both crushing and screening objectives.
Precautions for Using Drum Screens: 1. Before using a coal crushing drum screen, conduct a thorough inspection to ensure all components are intact, the transmission system operates smoothly and reliably, and the screen mesh is free from damage or blockage.
2. Before starting the equipment, the dust removal system must be activated to ensure the interior cleanliness and environmental hygiene.
3. Ensure uniform distribution of materials during feeding to prevent equipment overload caused by excessive coal input at once.
4. During equipment operation, regularly inspect the screen's wear condition and replace severely worn screens promptly to ensure effective screening performance.
5. During equipment operation, monitor its performance closely. If any abnormalities are detected, immediately shut down the equipment for inspection to prevent damage or accidents.
