Structural pipes are steel pipes used for general structures, and are simply called structural pipes.
Structural pipes. This standard is applicable to seamless steel pipes for general structures and mechanical structures. The standard for fluid seamless steel pipes is applicable to general seamless steel pipes for fluid transportation. The main difference between it and structural seamless steel pipes is that fluid seamless steel pipes undergo hydraulic tests one by one or ultrasonic, eddy current and magnetic flux leakage flaw detection. Therefore, in the standard selection of steel pipes for pressure pipelines, fluid seamless steel pipes should not be adopted. Seamless steel pipes are represented by outer diameter and wall thickness. Thick-walled seamless steel pipes are mainly used for various purposes such as mechanical processing, coal mines, and hydraulic steel. The materials of thick-walled seamless steel pipes include 10#, 20#, 35#, 45#, 16Mn, 27SiMn, 12Cr1MoV, 10CrMo910, 15CrMo, 35CrMo, etc. Classification of thick-walled seamless steel pipes - hot-rolled thick-walled seamless steel pipes, cold-rolled thick-walled seamless steel pipes, cold-drawn thick-walled seamless steel pipes, extruded thick-walled seamless steel pipes, pipe jacking. Structural stainless steel seamless tubes (GB/T14975-1994) are hot-rolled (extruded, expanded) and cold-drawn (rolled) seamless tubes made of stainless steel, which are widely used in the chemical, petroleum, light textile, medical, food, mechanical and other industries as corrosion-resistant pipes, structural components and parts.
