Product Overview

In the production of rubber products, shoe materials, and various foamed items such as EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) and SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber), the performance of a demould release agent directly determines production efficiency, product quality, and mold longevity. Traditional release agents often leave stubborn residues on molds and product surfaces, leading to frequent mold cleaning, reduced production speed, and compromised product appearance—especially for light-colored items prone to yellowing. PECRA798 Demould Silicone Oil is a tailor-made high-performance solution designed to address these pain points. As a water-based external release agent, it integrates no-residue performance, high-temperature resistance, and excellent compatibility, delivering a seamless production experience for manufacturers across industries.

Formula Composition & Production Technology

The exceptional performance of PECRA798 stems from its premium raw materials and rigorous manufacturing processes. The core components include high-purity polydimethylsiloxane (a key silicone polymer known for its lubricity and stability) and specially selected surfactants. These ingredients undergo a precise organic silicon polymer emulsification process— a critical step that defines the product’s quality. Unlike ordinary emulsification methods, our process ensures the formation of a uniform, fine emulsion with consistent particle size. This not only enhances the product’s stability (preventing separation or degradation during storage and use) but also improves its compatibility with other materials. The emulsion can be easily mixed with additives or diluted with water, adapting to the diverse requirements of different production lines and process parameters. Every batch of PECRA798 undergoes strict quality control to ensure compliance with industrial standards, guaranteeing reliable performance in large-scale production.

No-Residue Performance – Protect Product Appearance & Mold Cleanliness

The most distinctive advantage of PECRA798 is its 100% no-residue demoulding effect. After the demoulding process, neither the mold nor the product surface retains any sticky or discolored residues. For manufacturers, this means significantly reduced mold cleaning frequency—saving time and labor costs associated with disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly. For products, especially light-colored items like white EVA beach shoes or rubber accessories, this feature effectively prevents yellowing, discoloration, or surface blemishes, maintaining the bright, pristine appearance that consumers demand. The no-residue formula also eliminates the need for post-production cleaning of finished products, streamlining the production workflow and reducing waste.

High-Temperature Resistance – Stable Performance in Extreme Conditions

With a temperature resistance range of 160-200℃, PECRA798 excels in high-temperature foaming processes (such as EVA and SBR foaming) where ordinary release agents tend to carbonize. Carbonization not only contaminates molds (causing thickening, dirt accumulation, or blackening) but also affects product quality by leaving carbon deposits on surfaces. Our product remains stable at high temperatures, avoiding carbonization and ensuring consistent lubricity and demoulding efficiency throughout the production cycle. This high-temperature stability also protects molds from damage, reducing wear and tear and extending their service life— a key cost-saving benefit for long-term production operations.

Excellent Stability & Compatibility

The advanced emulsification technology ensures that PECRA798 maintains stability even under dilution. Whether diluted at a ratio of 1:4 or 1:20 (depending on production needs), the emulsion remains uniform and free of sedimentation or separation. This flexibility allows manufacturers to adjust the concentration according to specific process requirements, from thin coatings for delicate products to thicker applications for complex molds. Additionally, the product exhibits strong compatibility with other production materials, such as foaming agents, fillers, and binders, without causing adverse reactions (e.g., foaming defects or material degradation). This compatibility makes it a versatile choice for integrated production lines.

Wide Application Scope

PECRA798 is a multi-purpose release agent with diverse applications across industries:

• EVA Foaming: Ideal for producing EVA beach shoes, insoles, sports equipment, and foam mats. Its no-residue formula prevents yellowing, while high-temperature stability adapts to EVA’s foaming process (typically 160-180℃).

• SBR Foaming: Suitable for SBR foam products such as shoe soles, gaskets, and shock absorbers. The product’s lubricity ensures easy demoulding of SBR’s elastic texture, and compatibility with SBR materials avoids foam shrinkage or porosity.

• Rubber Production: Applicable to natural rubber, synthetic rubber, and rubber composites (e.g., O-rings, seals, rubber hoses). It reduces mold contamination and sticking, ensuring rubber products maintain precise dimensions and smooth surfaces.

• Shoe Material Manufacturing: Perfect for shoe soles, uppers, and accessories made from various materials (EVA, SBR, rubber, PE). It enhances production efficiency and product consistency, meeting the strict quality standards of the footwear industry.

• Coating Additives: Can be added to industrial coatings to improve lubricity, scratch resistance, and surface smoothness of coated products (e.g., plastic parts, metal components).

• Lubricants & Lubricating Additives: Used as a lubricant for mechanical parts or an additive in lubricating oils to enhance high-temperature stability and anti-wear performance.

Usage Guidelines

To maximize the performance of PECRA798, follow these recommended usage steps:

1. Dilution: Use soft water (preferably deionized water) for dilution. The recommended dilution ratio is 1:4 to 1:20. Adjust the ratio based on specific production processes:

○ For complex molds or sticky materials (e.g., SBR rubber), use a higher concentration (1:4 to 1:8).

○ For simple molds or low-stick materials (e.g., PE foam), use a lower concentration (1:10 to 1:20).

2. Application: Apply the diluted emulsion to the mold surface using spraying, brushing, or dipping. Ensure uniform coverage—avoid excessive application (which may cause unnecessary waste) or insufficient coverage (which may lead to sticking).

3. Usage Timing: The diluted emulsion should be used on the same day. Do not store diluted solutions for extended periods, as this may affect stability and demoulding performance.

4. Pre-Cleaning: Before applying the release agent, ensure the mold surface is clean and dry (free of oil, dirt, or previous residues) to optimize adhesion and performance.
