Industrial-grade UPVC products have the following features
Industrial-grade PVC raw materials and formulations: PVC resin powder from well-known domestic and foreign manufacturers and professional non-lead series additive formulations should be used. And the calcium carbonate content should not exceed 5%. The performance indicators meet the international industrial application standards. (Excessively high calcium carbonate content will significantly reduce the product's strength, chemical resistance, and service life, which does not meet the requirements of industrial applications.)
Clean and hygienic: UPVC raw materials and products need to pass the inspection of **health quarantine units. Products exported to Europe and the United States also need to pass the strict inspection of the **NSF American **Health** Association for water-related products and can be used in drinking water-related equipment systems.
Good chemical resistance: UPVC has good resistance to inorganic acids, alkalis, and salts at general concentrations and temperatures, which can meet the needs of general process equipment for chemicals and water treatment.
Strong structural performance: At room temperature, the mechanical strength of UPVC far exceeds that of materials such as PP, PB, PE, and ABS, making it a good choice to replace traditional metal pipes.
Good thermal insulation performance: The thermal conductivity of UPVC is about 1/300 of that of galvanized pipes and is also much lower than that of materials such as PP, PB, PE, and ABS. It performs excellently when applied to the ice-water pipelines of refrigeration systems, which can improve energy utilization and save relevant thermal insulation costs.
Smooth inner wall: The smooth inner wall can reduce pressure friction loss, reduce the chance of the inner wall attachments affecting the flow rate, and effectively maintain the system efficiency.
