I.  Product Introduction

       The tuning fork level switch is a new type of level limit switch, mainly used for detecting liquid media. The tuning fork is vibrated by crystal excitation. When the tuning fork is immersed in the material, the vibration frequency changes. This frequency change is detected by the electronic circuit, which then controls a DPDT relay (double-pole double-throw) and current output to achieve the function of detecting the material level. It is widely used in: tap water, mineral water, pulp, glue, dyes, mud, alkaline solutions, acid solutions, beer, beverages, liquids that can produce gas, solid powders or granules with good fluidity, for upper/lower level alarm and control of material levels. Currently, it is mainly involved in industries such as petrochemicals, light industry, food, and water treatment.


II.  Product Features

  1. Maintenance-free: Since the detection process of the tuning fork level switch is completed by an electronic circuit with no moving parts, no maintenance is required once it is installed and put into operation.

  2. Strong adaptability: Different electrical parameters and densities of the measured liquid have no impact on the measurement. Severe conditions such as scaling, agitation, turbulence, bubbles, vibration, medium viscosity, high temperature, and high pressure also have no effect on the detection. It is suitable for point alarm or control of solid material levels in various silos and liquid levels in various containers.

  3. No calibration required: Since the detection of the tuning fork level switch is not affected by the electrical parameters and density of the measured medium, no on-site calibration is needed regardless of the liquid being measured.

  4. Sturdy and durable: The tuning fork head is composed of a robust stainless steel shell and alloy castings.
