Working principle
The working principle of the electromagnetic flowmeter is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. When a conductor moves in a magnetic field, an induced electromotive force is generated at both ends of the conductor in the direction perpendicular to the direction of the magnetic field and the direction of motion. The magnitude of the electromotive force is proportional to the moving speed of the conductor and the magnitude of the magnetic induction intensity of the magnetic field.
Product type and composition
The electromagnetic flowmeter consists of two major parts: the electromagnetic flow converter and the electromagnetic flow sensor. For the separated type, a dedicated double-shielded cable is also required to connect the converter and the sensor.
Electromagnetic flowmeters are divided into two structural forms: integrated type and separated type。
There are 7 different materials of electrodes and 4 different materials of linings available for the sensor。
