Product Description:
3-CPA is an auxin-based growth promoter. It possesses auxin activity but cannot be transported outwards through leaves; it must be applied directly to the fruit. It inhibits leaf cluster growth, delays fruit ripening, and at high concentrations can be used as a herbicide.
Applications：
1. Pineapple: Primarily used to inhibit root elongation, promote fruit enlargement, and increase the number of root suckers. About 15 weeks before the expected harvest, when the last flower on the young fruit has withered and dried, and the rootstock is 3-5 cm long, spray the top of the pineapple with a 1100-3300 mg/kg trichlorophenoxypropionic acid solution in a wide spray pattern. Lower concentrations can increase pineapple yield, while slightly higher concentrations can inhibit rootstock growth. Wide spraying is the best application method.
2. Tomato: When daylight hours are short and nighttime temperatures are low, dipping the flower clusters in 25-40 mg/kg trichlorophenoxypropionic acid can prevent flower drop, promote fruit set, and induce seedless fruit even without pollination.
