Uses: 6-BA is the first artificially synthesized cytokinin. 6-BA has the function of inhibiting the decomposition of chlorophyll, nucleic acid, and protein in plant leaves. At present, 6BA is widely used in citrus flower and fruit preservation and promoting flower bud differentiation. For example, 6BA is a high-efficiency plant growth regulator, which performs well in promoting germination, flower bud differentiation, fruit setting rate, fruit growth, and fruit quality.

Mechanism: It is a broad-spectrum plant growth regulator that can promote plant cell growth, inhibit the degradation of plant chlorophyll, increase the content of amino acids, delay leaf aging, etc. It can be used to grow mung bean sprouts and soybean sprouts. The maximum usage is 0.01g/kg, and the residual amount is less than 0.2mg/kg. It can induce bud differentiation, promote lateral bud growth, promote cell division, and reduce the decomposition of chlorophyll in plants. It has the function of inhibiting aging and keeping green.

Targets

(1) Promote the germination of lateral buds. In spring and autumn, when promoting the germination of rose axillary buds, make a wound 0.5 cm above and below the axillary buds of the lower branches, and apply an appropriate amount of 0.5% ointment. In the shaping of young apple trees, it can be used during vigorous growth to stimulate the germination of lateral buds and form side branches; Fuji apple varieties can be sprayed with 3% liquid diluted 75-100 times. (2) Promote the fruit setting of grapes and melons. Use 100mg/L liquid to treat the grape inflorescence 2 weeks before flowering to prevent falling flowers and fruits; when melons are flowering, use 10g/L to apply to the melon stalk to increase fruit setting. (3) Promote the flowering and preservation of flower plants. For the preservation of cut vegetables such as lettuce, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, Agaricus bisporus, and carnations, roses, chrysanthemums, violets, and agapanthus, 100-500 mg/L of liquid can be used for spraying or soaking before or after harvesting, which can effectively maintain their color, flavor, aroma, etc. (4) In Japan, 10 mg/L was used to treat the stems and leaves of rice seedlings at the 1-1.5 leaf stage, which can inhibit the yellowing of the lower leaves, maintain the vitality of the roots, and improve the survival rate of rice seedlings.
