Product Description:

IBA is an endogenous auxin that promotes cell division and growth, induces adventitious root formation, increases fruit set, prevents fruit drop, and alters the ratio of female to male flowers. It can enter the plant through the tender epidermis of leaves and branches, and seeds, and is transported to the sites of action by the nutrient flow.

It promotes the growth of the taproot, increasing germination and survival rates. It is used to promote rooting of cuttings.


IBA is a taproot growth promoter commonly used for root soaking and transplanting of woody and herbaceous plants, as well as for hardwood cuttings. It accelerates root growth and increases the rooting rate. 

It can also be used for seed soaking and coating to improve germination and survival rates. 

For root soaking and transplanting, the concentration is 10–20 mg/L for herbaceous plants and 50 mg/L for woody plants; for cuttings, the concentration is 50–100 mg/L; 

for seed soaking and coating, the concentration is 100 mg/L (woody plants) and 10–20 mg/L (herbaceous plants). 

High concentrations of indolebutyric acid can also promote the proliferation of some tissue culture seedlings.
