The SXWDI16XX10001 is a central I/O module designed for the SpaceLogic/EcoStruxure system.
Key features include:
16 digital input channels (i.e., supports 16 discrete digital point types)
Plug-in sub-base / terminal base design, modular and scalable; up to 32 modules can be added to a server to meet I/O requirement.
Hot-connect and hot-swappable – meaning the module can be removed or replaced without shutting down the bus/communication.
Auto-addressing of modules, so DIP switch settings or manual addressing are minimized.
Technical specs: 24 V DC supply (for the module), low power consumption (about 1.6 W)
Environmental/physical characteristics: Width approx. 30 mm, Height ~114 mm, Depth ~64 mm, operating ambient temperature 0…50 °C, protection rating IP20.
Typical application: Used in building automation systems, monitoring equipment statuses, alarm points, etc. This module is part of the I/O infrastructure that connects sensors/contacts (dry-contacts, digital inputs) into the building management/control system.
