Product Overview
The 5104BCL is a 4-channel bus coupler input unit for the C‑Bus control & management system (part of Schneider Electric / Clipsal) designed to allow mechanically passive (voltage-free) switches to interface with the C-Bus network.
Key points:
It provides 4 input channels, each for a voltage-free (dry contact) switch.
It supports on-board “scenes” (pre-programmed functions) via the C-Bus network.
It connects to the C-Bus wiring (two-terminal connector) and draws a small current (~18 mA) from the bus.
The mechanical switches can be momentary or latching, standard wall switches or reed/pressure switches.
