The Bettis RPX series gear rack actuators are designed for the most common angle-travel valves in automation, such as ball valves, butterfly valves and plug valves. They can be adapted to almost any angle-travel (90° rotation) application.
The RPX series is made of high-quality extruded aluminum, while the end caps are made of cast aluminum. The main body of the actuator is processed using the "glass sandblasting" technique, and the end caps are coated with powder. This not only enhances durability but also presents a unique satin-like appearance.
The RPX actuator is manufactured in accordance with the quality assurance system of *** 9001, and complies with European standards such as ATEX and PED. It can operate with dry or lubricated air sources or non-corrosive air sources, and can run continuously under a pressure of up to 8 bar / 120 psi. Moreover, these actuators can withstand temperature conditions ranging from -20°C to +80°C / -4°F to 176°F, making them particularly suitable for long-term indoor and outdoor applications.
A double-stroke limiter is installed near the top of the gear, facilitating the operator to make fine adjustments to the opening and closing strokes, ensuring that the valve is fully opened or closed. Moreover, the operator can also reconfigure the valve on-site or in the workshop.
