Pneumatic Wafer Butterfly Valve
Pneumatic wafer butterfly valves consist of a pneumatic actuator and a butterfly valve. They feature a simple structure, compact size, and light weight, making them easy to install and operate. They can also adjust the flow rate of the medium, provide low fluid resistance, offer excellent sealing performance, and have a long service life. They consist of a rubber-sealed butterfly valve and a carbon steel or stainless steel disc and stem. They are suitable for regulating flow and intercepting media in water supply, drainage, and gas pipelines operating at temperatures ≤80°C to 120°C, such as those in the food, chemical, petroleum, power, textile, and paper industries.
Pneumatic Acid and Alkali Resistant Cast Iron Valves
Pneumatic wafer butterfly valves for sewage discharge have a simple structure, compact size, and light weight, consisting of only a few parts. They can be quickly opened and closed with a simple 90° rotation, making operation simple. They also offer excellent flow control characteristics. When the butterfly valve is fully open, the disc thickness represents the resistance to the medium flowing through the valve body. Consequently, the pressure drop across the valve is minimal, resulting in excellent flow control characteristics. The butterfly valve is compact and occupies little space. Excellent sealing performance. When selecting a specific type, consider the media, temperature, and pressure. Wafer-type butterfly valves are installed by connecting the valve between two pipe flanges with stud bolts.
Pneumatic Acid- and Alkali-Resistant Cast Iron Valve: The main components of a pneumatic wafer butterfly valve for sewage discharge are the valve body, valve stem, valve core, and valve seat. The valve body is cylindrical, short in axial length, and features a built-in butterfly disc. Structural Features:
1. The butterfly valve features a simple structure, compact size, light weight, low material consumption, compact installation dimensions, rapid opening and closing, 90° reciprocating rotation, and low driving torque. It is used to shut off, connect, and regulate media in pipelines, and exhibits excellent fluid control characteristics and sealing performance.
2. The butterfly valve can transport slurry, minimizing liquid accumulation at the pipe opening. It achieves a good seal at low pressures and offers excellent regulating performance.
3. The streamlined design of the butterfly disc minimizes fluid resistance losses, making it an energy-saving product. 4. The valve stem is a through-stem structure, quenched and tempered for excellent mechanical properties and corrosion and abrasion resistance. When the butterfly valve is opened and closed, the stem rotates only, not lifting or lowering. This prevents damage to the stem packing and ensures a reliable seal. The stem is secured to the butterfly disc with a taper pin, and the extended end features an anti-blowout design to prevent the stem from collapsing in the event of an accidental breakage at the connection between the stem and the disc.
Cylinder options include single-acting and double-acting. Optional accessories include a solenoid valve, limit switch, filter-pressure reducing valve, positioner, and clutch.
