Pipe support is a component that connects pipes to supporting steel structures or concrete supports, mainly used to support pipes and transfer loads. Its main material is formed by the reaction of isocyanate, polyether and blowing agent to form a high-density foam polymer with the characteristics of plastic, rubber and cork. According to the function, it can be divided into insulation (cold insulation) type and non-insulation type, of which the cold insulation type uses polyurethane or polyisocyanurate rigid foam insulation layer to block cold transmission; the non-insulation type directly assumes the role of structural support.


According to the displacement constraint mode, it is divided into sliding type, fixed type and guided type, and the difference is reflected in the connection structure of the pipe support and the support. The sliding and guided types are often designed with a combination of PTFE plate and white steel plate, which reduces the binding stress when the pipe is deformed by reducing the friction coefficient. With the development of industrial demand, the material and structure of the pipe support continue to be optimized.


The insulation pipe carrier is suitable for LNG, liquid nitrogen and other cryogenic media pipelines, while the insulation type reduces heat loss by improving materials, and is widely used in petroleum, chemical, electric power and other fields. Technological advances such as sliding friction design and stackable assembly have further improved the stress distribution control ability and service life of pipelines.


By eliminating the thermal bridge effect, modern pipe support achieves energy conservation and emission reduction in scenarios such as long-distance steam transportation, becoming a key component for the safe operation of piping systems.
