Pipe support is a component that connects pipes to supporting steel structures or concrete supports, mainly used to support pipes and transfer loads. Its main material is formed by the reaction of isocyanate, polyether and blowing agent to form a high-density foam polymer with the characteristics of plastic, rubber and cork. According to the function, it can be divided into insulation (cold insulation) type and non-insulation type, of which the cold insulation type uses polyurethane or polyisocyanurate rigid foam insulation layer to block cold transmission; the non-insulation type directly assumes the role of structural support.

The sliding and guided types are often designed with a combination of PTFE plate and white steel plate, which reduces the binding stress when the pipe is deformed by reducing the friction coefficient.
