The specific working principle is as follows:


  • Self-inspection: After the system is started, it first performs self-inspection to check whether all parts of the controller's hardware are normal, such as whether the CPU, memory, input and output modules are in normal working condition. If a fault is found, a corresponding alarm signal will be issued, and it cannot enter the subsequent work process normally.

  • Input scanning: The controller periodically reads the status of various sensors, switches and other devices connected to the input module, converts external physical signals, such as temperature, pressure, position signals, etc., into electrical signals, and stores them in the input image area.

  • Program execution: The CPU reads data from the input image area according to the program logic written by the user, and performs logical operations, sequence control, timing, counting, arithmetic operations and other operations in the order set by the program. User programs are usually written in programming languages such as ladder diagrams, function block diagrams or instruction lists, and stored in the controller's memory.

  • Output refresh: According to the results of program execution, the data in the output image area is updated, and then this data is sent to the output module. The output module converts the electrical signals into corresponding physical signals to control external executive devices, such as motors, solenoid valves, contactors, etc., thereby realizing the control of industrial equipment.

  • Communication interaction: The controller can exchange data with other devices or networks through communication modules using communication protocols such as EtherCAT and CANopen. It can receive control instructions from the host computer, and also upload its own operating status and related data to the host computer or other devices, realizing remote monitoring and system integration.
