    VMIVME-4140-001 is an analog output board based on VMEbus, produced by the VMIC division of GE, and belongs to the VMIC Megamodule series. Here are its detailed specifications:

    • Number of Channels: 32 channels.
    • Resolution: 12 bits.
    • Output Voltage Range: Software-selectable unipolar (0 to +10V, 0 to +5V, 0 to +2.5V) or bipolar (±2.5V, ±5V, ±10V).
    • Output Current: Each channel has a maximum output current of 10mA.
    • Interface Type: VMEbus.
    • Power Supply: +5V.
    • Operating Temperature: -25°C to +85°C.

      • Features: It is characterized by high precision, high speed, buffered output, and programmable output range. It is equipped with dual-buffered data latches, enabling software or external synchronous updates. It has a self-test function and extensive on-board diagnostic testing capabilities; the self-test runs automatically after system reset, and the self-test register can display success or failure as well as faulty channels.
      • Other Features: The output can be disconnected from field wiring for offline testing. The VMEbus base address is set via jumpers, occupying 128 consecutive bytes of address space. Address modifier bits are selected and decoded via jumpers, supporting non-privileged, supervisory, and non-privileged or supervisory board access. Output data is stored in 32 16-bit registers, which can accept binary or offset binary data.
