    VMIVME-3122-210 is a high-performance 16-bit analog-to-digital converter board from the VMEbus analog input/output product series of VMIC, a subsidiary of GE. Here are its detailed specifications:

    • Resolution: 16-bit digitization resolution, featuring excellent dynamic range and analog input channel density.

    • Input Channels: Supports automatic scanning of 64 differential or single-ended analog inputs.

    • Scan Rate: Optional scan rates for high-performance options range from 381Hz to 100kHz, while those for standard performance options range from 381Hz to 50kHz.

    • A/D Converter Range: Selectable via jumpers as ±2.5V, ±5V, ±10V, 0 to +5V, 0 to +10V.

    • Gain Settings: The gain of each channel can be programmed individually or set via software to a fixed gain common to all channels, with gain options of x1 or x10.

    • Data Buffering: Provides a 16 to 1024-word dual-port data buffer where digital values are stored and can be accessed from the VMEbus at any time.

    • Operating Modes: Supports multiple operating modes such as automatic scanning, data bursting, and external synchronization.

    • Synchronization Capability: Multiple boards can be synchronized, allowing up to 16 boards to start each scan simultaneously.

    • Timers and Interrupts: An interval timer is used to control timed data bursts, providing repeat or single burst intervals of up to 687 seconds; a bus interrupter is used for mid-scan or end-scan indication, and interrupt requests can be generated simultaneously with the data ready flag.

    • Other Features: Programmable channel block size and buffer size, where the channel block can be adjusted to 1, 8, 16, 32, or 64 channels, and the data buffer size can be selected from 16 data words to 1024 data words in binary increments; optional low-pass input filters; operable in short I/O (A16), standard (A24), or extended (A32) data spaces; with continuous and burst operating modes, capable of free running or external/internal triggering.
