We at Silver Tubes have developed a range of products which includes 304 Bright Annealed pipes and tubes. Bright annealing is produced by carrying out heat-treatment on steel in a controlled atmosphere furnace. The heat treatment on ASTM A269 makes its surface reflective like a mirror, but it may bear some imperfections and cloudiness. Buffing is another process through which the Annealed pipes and tubes are made to attain a more reflective. This Bright Annealed steel can be used in applications where reflective surfaces are desired. Bright Annealed 304 Stainless Steel is extensively used in applications such as chemical, paper, food and refrigeration.
Annealed 304 Steel possesses superior corrosion resistance and heat properties when compared to other types of Steel. Type 304 is non-magnetic in annealed state and can become slightly magnetic when following cold-working.
