Product Description
The following materials are usually used in electric vehicle charging cables:
1. Conductor: The conductor of the charging cable is usually made of copper or aluminum. Copper is an excellent conductive material with good electrical conductivity and conductivity, suitable for high-power charging needs.
2. Insulation layer: The insulation layer of the charging cable is usually made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE). PVC has good electrical insulation and wear resistance, while XLPE has higher heat resistance and voltage resistance.
3. Core wire shielding layer: In order to reduce electromagnetic interference, charging cables usually use aluminum foil or copper foil as the core wire shielding layer. In addition, copper braided shielding layer or conductive polymer shielding layer can also be used.
4. Outer sheath: The outer sheath of the charging cable is usually made of wear-resistant, oil-resistant and weather-resistant materials, such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyurethane (PU) or rubber.
The selection and use of these materials need to comply with relevant international and regional standards and regulations to ensure the safety and reliability of charging cables. At the same time, different types of charging equipment and charging interfaces may have different requirements for cable materials. Therefore, when purchasing and using electric vehicle charging cables, appropriate cable materials should be selected according to specific charging needs and charging standards.
