GLSUN's MEMS MxN optical switch is built using MEMS mirror technology. The mems mxn optical switch is fully bi-directional and transparent to the full wavelength range of the installed fiber. The "MxN" in the term represents the number of inputs (M) and outputs (N), so an MxN optical switch can handle a variety of configurations, such as 8x8, 16x16, or even larger, with the ability to route any input port to any output port. GLSUN MEMS matrix optical switch is a proprietary optical switch structure that allows any of the inputs to connect to any of the outputs in a fully non-blocking, all-optical cross-connect configuration.
