160T YZS type casting crane is one of the main equipment in the continuous casting process of steel making. It is mainly used for mixing molten iron in the converter charging span to the converter, hoisting the molten steel to the refining furnace in the refining span or hoisting the molten steel in the molten steel span to the continuous casting turntable.

The overall structure of the casting crane can be divided into: double-beam double-track, four-beam four-track, four-beam six-track and so on. The double-beam double-rail and four-beam four-rail forms are generally used for medium and large tonnage casting cranes, and the four-beam six-rail double trolley form is generally used for extra-large tonnage casting cranes.
