I.Warnings for safe use

Please read through this manual before using the natural gas pressure reducing valve

This manual has listed several matters for safe use, avoiding personal injury to you and others.

This design and manufacturing of this product have fully taken into account of safety. Please make sure to observe the following regulations and precautions when using it to prevent personal injury to the user.

1．It is strictly forbidden to apply the pressure reducing valve to other unspecified natural gases since the mixing of certain types of natural gas may lead to complex chemical reactions, which may damage the pressure reducing valve and cause accidents.

2．Confirm the regulations and working conditions of this product

   Please check the following clauses (a-f) and confirm the specifications of the natural gas pressure reducing valve based on your usage requirements. As natural gas pressure reducing valves contain high-pressure natural gas, it is essential to confirm the working conditions of new products.

A. Used natural gas type

B. Inlet pressure (primary pressure)

C. All pressure gauges (for detecting inlet pressure)

D. Types and dimensions of connectors at natural gas inlets

E. Types and dimensions of natural gas outlet connectors

F. All natural gas fluids

   When the specifications of this natural gas pressure reducing valve do not fit your usage conditions, the natural gas pressure reducing valve will be harmed or natural gas leakage will be caused.

3．Confirmation of working environment

   The working area of the natural gas pressure reducing valve shall be fully ventilated. Even when it is used with non-toxic and non-corrosive gases, it may cause personal accidents due to possible lack of oxygen.

4．Oil, grease, and others shall be prevented from contaminating the pressure reducing valve. If water, oil or dust corrodes the pressure reducing valve or enters the inside of it, it may cause damage to the product, leading to natural gas leakage, or affecting its pressure regulating function.

The front end of this pressure reducing valve must be equipped with a filter device with a precision of no less than 20 UM!

There is no mechanism to be added with lubricating oil or grease in this pressure reducing valve.

5．Confirmation of the safety valve working conditions

   In order to avoid damage to the pressure reducing valve, piping system, instruments and equipment caused by an increase in output pressure in abnormal conditions, users may install a pressure reducing valve with a safety valve.

The pressure relief pressure of the safety valve configured on the pressure reducing valve when it leaves factory has been set to 1.2-1.5 times the rated output pressure of the pressure reducing valve. Users are strictly forbidden from changing the pressure relief pressure by themselves. If it needs to be changed, please contact our company or distributors.

  For flammable natural gas, direct discharge from the safety valve is strictly forbidden, and a discharge pipe must be installed to drain the fluid by recycling or neutralization. The material of discharge pipes must adopt metal and plastic or rubber hoses can not be used.

6．About steel cylinder

  For pressure reducing valves directly connected to natural gas, their maintenance and use must meet the regulations on high-pressure natural gas management and your internal regulations. Wrong operation will lead to natural gas leakage or damage to the pressure reducing valve, causing serious accidents.
