Hydrocarbon of Liquid Petroleum Products Tester (Fluorescent Indicator Adsorption Method)

 Product Introduction

The instrument is operated by injecting a certain amount of sample into a glass adsorption column containing activated silica gel. In the separation section of the adsorption column, a thin layer of silica gel containing a mixture of fluorescent dyes is installed. When the sample is adsorbed on the silica gel, add alcohol desorption sample, pressure to make the sample smoothly. Various hydrocarbons in the sample are separated into aromatics, olefin, and saturated hydrocarbons according to their adsorption capacity. The volume fraction of each hydrocarbon was calculated according to the length of each hydrocarbon color zone in the adsorption column. This instrument is suitable for the determination of hydrocarbons in petroleum fractions with boiling point lower than 315 degrees Celsius. However, it does not apply to samples with dark color groups that have an effect on hydrocarbon chromatographic readings.
