2. Product performance
Shandong Caizhiyuan Pigment Technology: S353 iron oxide black is a blue-light black pigment. The blackness of the naked eye is similar to that of carbon black, and the texture is fine. It is insoluble in water and alcohol, and soluble in concentrated acid and hot acid. Magnetic, high tinting power and hiding power. It has good weather resistance, light resistance, atmospheric resistance, durability, water permeability, stability and oil permeability. Good alkali resistance. It is easily oxidized when heated at high temperature and turns into red iron oxide. γ-iron trioxide is formed when it is fired at 200~300℃. It can cooperate with other subtle colors to form light scattering effect, showing translucency.
Iron oxide black has low oil absorption, strong coloring, good dispersibility, and high gloss retention in water-based paints.

S353 iron oxide black is mainly used in the building materials industry for colored cement, colored cement floor tiles, colored cement tiles, imitation glazed tiles, concrete floor tiles, colored mortar, colored asphalt, terrazzo, mosaic tiles, artificial marble and wall painting, etc.; In the industry, it is mainly used to manufacture various paints, coatings and inks.
