1. Pigment properties
Shandong Caizhiyuan Pigment Technology: Medium chrome yellow, also known as Pigment Yellow 34. Bright color, high tinting strength, strong covering power and good dispersibility. The main component is lead chromate pigment, its chemical composition is PbCrO4, the content is about 90% ~ 94%, the appearance is light red yellow pigment, its crystal form is monoclinic, the density is 5.1 ~ 6.0g/cm3, the oil absorption is 13 ~ 27g/100g, good color bleed resistance.
The hiding power is between the light chrome yellow and the dark chrome yellow, the lightness is equal to the light chrome yellow, better than the dark chrome yellow, the acid resistance is equal to the light chrome yellow, better than the dark chrome yellow, and the alkali resistance is poor.
It has good gloss in paint, and can be made into medium green with blue pigment. The lead chromate content is high, above 90%. The color is equivalent to lightfast Yellow G. The light resistance reaches 4~5 grades. Heat resistance 180℃. Water permeability and oil permeability are grade 1. Acid resistance and alkali resistance are grade 3.
2. Application areas
Medium chrome yellow has bright color, strong tinting strength, high heat resistance, excellent heat resistance and no migration. Mainly used for the coloring of powder coatings, paints, inks, rubber, plastics and cultural and educational supplies.
