1. Pigment properties
Shandong Caizhiyuan Pigment Technology: Light chrome yellow pigment (C.I. Pigment Yellow 34) is a bright yellow pigment with good anti-bleeding properties, strong hiding power, high tinting strength, heat resistance, and easy grinding and dispersion.
Light chrome yellow is a green light yellow pigment, which is more reddish than lemon chrome yellow and greener than medium chrome yellow. The content of lead chromate is not less than 60%, and it can be made into light green with blue pigment. The lead chromate content is higher than that of lemon chrome yellow. The color is equivalent to Everlasting Yellow H4G. Light fastness up to level 5. The heat resistance is 140°C. Water permeability and oil permeability are grade 1. Acid resistance and alkali resistance are grade 3.
2. Application areas
Light Chrome Yellow is a bright, clean pigment that provides high hiding power, does not fade, is easy to grind, and does not react with most paint binders. Chrome Yellow still has good durability in outdoor applications. Due to its better performance and lower price, light chrome yellow is widely used in many systems, such as road marking paint, printing ink, paper, linoleum, leather processing rubber, powder coatings and other industries! Chrome yellow can also be used in In non-alkaline wall plastering and water-based paints.
