ZPNL is a vertical single-stage single suction submerged mud (slag) slurry pump, which is an energy-saving product based on the original PNL pump structure. It is widely used in mineral processing plant, power plant, municipal engineering, construction site, ground drilling and other fields to transport mixed liquid containing suspended solid particles, such as concentrate, tailings, ash, slime, gravel, slurry, etc. The weight percent concentration of the transported slurry can reach 50-60%.

The pump body of ZPNL vertical mud pump is of single-layer structure, and the pump body and guard plate form a pump cavity. Cylindrical integral bearing box, single row radial ball bearings are respectively installed at upper and lower ends of the bearing box; the pump body is connected with the lower end of the bearing box through the bracket, and the upper end of the bearing box is connected with the motor base. For the pump with head less than 40 m, the impeller is open impeller without shaft seal. From the driving end to the pump head, the impeller rotates clockwise; for the pump with head equal to or higher than 40 m, the impeller is closed impeller, and the shaft seal is packing. When viewed from the driving end to the pump head, the impeller rotates clockwise.

The pump cavity of ZPNL pump should be completely immersed in the mud or slurry. The bearing position at the lower end of the bearing box is not allowed to invade into the mud or slurry. It should be kept more than 150 mm above the liquid level. If there is packing, the packing should be properly pressed.
