German technical background VOK®- SD-2 rheological additive
VOK®- SD-2 organobentonite rheology additive is designed for medium to high polarity solvent coating system.
Product characteristics:
Composition: organic modified bentonite
Appearance: milky white fine soft powder
Density: 1.62g/cm3
Particle size: ≤ 1um
Application field:
Acid curing system, anti-corrosion coating, adhesive, automobile repair paint primer, gravure printing ink, epoxy resin coating, industrial coating, two-component polyurethane coating, paint remover, high-build vinyl coating
Main features:
1. It can be effectively dispersed at low shear rate
2. Good storage stability
3. Good resistance to sagging and sinking
4. Good pigment suspension
5. Provide good sagging resistance without affecting flow and leveling
6. No need to prepare pre gel
7. No additional activator is required
usage method:
1. Can be added at any stage of the production process
2. Used during pigment grinding without temperature limit
3. If it is used for correction after paint mixing, it is recommended to use pre gel
Recommended dosage: 0.2-1.0%, high thickness system needs high dosage.
Package: VOK®- SD-2 is packed in paper bags of 10kg/bag
Shelf life: 48 months
