German technical background  VOK ®- WT 102 water-based rheological agent

Overview: VOK ®- WT 102 is an associative polyurethane thickener. It provides good thickening and thixotropic properties for water-based systems

Nature

Composition: non-ionic polyurethane polymer

Appearance: yellow to slightly turbid liquid

Non volatile matter: 49.5-51.5%

Solvent: ethylene glycol monobutyl ether/water

Specific gravity: about 1.04

Viscosity: 2000-10000 cp (25 ℃)

Characteristics and purpose

Effectively improve the low shear viscosity and thixotropy

It has little influence on the water resistance and luster of the film

Anti roll coating splash, anti microbial degradation, insensitive to PH value

Scope of application

Water based adhesive

Textile coating

Amount added and method of use

Add 0.1-2.0% to the full amount

It can be used with other rheological aids to obtain the required rheological properties

The stock solution has high viscosity and must be diluted with alcohol and ether before use

Dilution method: German technical background Volcker VOK ®- WT 102/cosolvent, 1/1-1/2

Storage

The product shall be stored in a cool and ventilated place, and the container shall be kept tight and away from heat and fire sources

The storage environment is 20 ℃ to 40 ℃

When the temperature is lower than 20 ℃, the appearance may be gelatinous or particles may precipitate. Please heat it to a clear state through water separation, and use it after mixing evenly

Containers containing products shall not be directly exposed to thermal radiation

Security

This product contains solvent and should be handled carefully to avoid contact with skin and eyes
