German technical background  VOK ®- WT 204 water-based rheological additive

Overview: VOK ®- WT204 is a solvent free associating polyurethane leveling rheological additive, which can provide excellent flow, leveling and film properties, especially suitable for the preparation of high-grade waterborne coatings.

Application field: water-based paint, latex paint, leather paint, water-based ink

Characteristics and uses: It can effectively provide high shear viscosity, low thixotropy, obtain newtonian like rheological properties, excellent flow and leveling properties, and improve water resistance, fullness and good luster of the film. Anti roll coating splash, anti microbial degradation, and insensitive to PH value. It has good compatibility with most water-based resins and additives, and does not contain any organic solvent and alkyl phenol polyoxyethylene ether (APEO), so it can be used for environmentally friendly preparation.

Dosage and method of use: When it is necessary to use alone, generally add 0.1-3.0% to the full amount. If it is necessary to use with other rheological additives, generally add 0.2-1.5% to the full amount. When it is used, it can be used with other rheological additives to obtain the required rheological properties. Under better mixing conditions, it can be used directly. In order to make the added system more dispersed and uniform, it can be diluted with water before use.

Dilution method: WT 204 ／ water=1 ／ 1

Storage: Keep away from heat and fire sources. Keep the product in a cool and ventilated place. Keep the container tightly stored at 5 ℃ to 40 ℃. When the temperature is lower than 5 ℃, the appearance may be gelatinous or particles may precipitate. Please heat it to a clear state through water separation, and use it after mixing evenly.
