Ac800m and related modules are installed by DIN rail. Each module is composed of a detachable unit and an interconnected base. The base realizes external connection between modules, including power supply and communication.
The core of the controller is the processor module and the base. The two IEEE802.3 Ethernet ports installed on the controller can be connected to the control network, the monitoring system or the control builder m configuration tool.
At the same time, it also provides two RS232 C ports that can replace the Ethernet mode and can be connected to the control builder or the monitoring system or other subsystems that meet the communication protocol requirements. Users can also customize the communication protocol.
One RS232 C port is used for the transmission of short messages, such as programming tools, so it only provides part of RS232 C messages. The other communication port is used for the transmission of long information. It provides RS232 C information in full format, such as the control of modem.
There is a slot for communication expansion (CEX) on the left side of the module. The system provides PROFIBUS DP, FF, MODBUS and other communication modules, and the controller can connect up to 12 communication modules.
