Description of tps3808
Tps3808 series microprocessor monitoring circuit can monitor the system voltage from 0.4V to 5V, and set the open drain reset signal to be valid when the sense voltage drops below the preset threshold or the manual reset (MR) pin drops to the logic low level. When the sense voltage and the return value of manual reset (MR) exceed the corresponding threshold, the reset output will remain low within the user adjustable delay time.
The tps3808 device uses a precision voltage reference, which can achieve a threshold accuracy of 0.5% when Vit ≤ 3.3V. By disconnecting the CT pin, the reset delay time can be set to 20ms; By connecting the CT pin to VDD with a resistor, the reset delay time can be set to 300ms, or by connecting the CT pin to an external capacitor, the user can adjust the reset delay time between 1.25ms and 10s. The tps3808 device has an ultra-low typical quiescent current of 2.4 µ a, so it is very suitable for battery powered applications. It uses SOT-23 and 2mm × 2mm WSON package with a rated operating temperature range of – 40 ° C to 125 ° C (TJ).
