The led t5 lamp tube and the t8 lamp tube are used for the grille light panel. Although the appearance and size are not very different, there are differences in actual use. 4. Different sizes:
T5 straight tube fluorescent tube φ16mm (5/8 inch), T8 straight tube fluorescent tube φ26mm (1 inch); different brightness:
T8 is brighter than T5, and the larger the diameter, the higher the brightness.

5. Different color rendering:
T5 fluorescent lamp has good color rendering performance. Because it adopts rare earth tricolor phosphors configured with primary colors, the color rendering index Ra can reach more than 80. And T5 fluorescent light has high efficiency. The luminous efficiency of T5 fluorescent lamp with a correlated color temperature of 2700K is about 100LM/W, while the luminous efficiency of ordinary T8 fluorescent lamp is about 70LM/W, and the luminous efficiency of ordinary T12 fluorescent lamp is about 60LM/W.

Two/ Which of the led t5 and t8 lamps is bright
1. For fluorescent lamps, the t5 tube is on. T is the diameter of the lamp. Each T is 1/8 inch. One inch is equal to 25.4 millimeters. Then the diameter of T8 tube is 25.4mm, and the diameter of T5 is 16mm. Therefore, the thinner the tube, the higher the efficiency, which means that the same wattage emits more light.
2. The ledT5 lamp is a high-efficiency lamp, so it is much larger than the ordinary T8 lamp.
Three, t5 lamp wiring diagram
1. For the wiring of ordinary T5 lamps, due to the use of ballasts. Ballast starters need to be connected in series. For electronic ballasts, there are 6 wires. The 220v input terminal is connected to the mains. The other 4 wires are connected to the pins of the lamp head respectively.
2. For the LEDT5 lamp, the wiring is relatively simple. One end of the zero wire and the other end of the live wire are connected to any line of the lamp holder. Ballast is no longer required
