1. Introduction:
The product is cured by UV light and contains primer and high gloss coating. The application is for offset printing.
2. Products features:
(1). Stable performance;
(2). High gloss;
(3). Applicable to surface gold stamping or screen printing process after application;
(4). Excellent results;
(5). Good smoothness;
(6). Low odor.
3. Technical data:
(1) Product color:
A. The high gloss coating is light yellow and will become transparent after cured by UV light.
B. The primer is sticky turbid liquid.
(2) Gloss:
Both primer and high gloss coating are high gloss.
(3) Viscosity:
A. The high gloss coating is 60 Pa·s(25℃);
B. The primer is 1500-3000mPa·s(25℃).
(4) Density:
Appr. 1.0g/cm³
4. Process:
(1). Please make sure the ink is fully dry before use.
(2). Apply the primer on the non-glossy part in the substrate.
(3). Apply high gloss coating on the full page of substrate.
5. Requirements to the substrate:
(1) Smoothness
The paper(substrate) should be smooth, or will affect the using effect for the varnish.
(2) Dusting rate
Too much dusting rate will affect the using effect for the varnish.
(3) Ink drying
The ink must be fully dry before varnish application
(4) Pre -print work
It is necessary to do pre- print work before application, such as pattern processing, select abrasive-effect(non-glossy effect) parts, pick glossy-effect parts, etc.
6. Notes:
(1) The viscosity of high gloss coating will rise when the temperature is too low. It is recommended to add ethanol by 2-3% or UV-thinner by 5%.
(2) Printing form should be applicable to UV.
(3) The printing machine must be away from sunshine.
(4) The temperature of workshop should be 20-25℃.
(5) The distance of ink rollers must be adjusted if change them.
(6) The using effect of varnish is related to UV light, printing rate, printing pressure, etc.
7. Package:
A. The high gloss coating is 20kg/barrel;
B. The primer is 1kg/bucket, 12can/bucket.
8. Storage:
It can be stored for 24 months at 5-35℃. Keep away from strong light.
9. Tips:
(1) Please thoroughly read the instructions and make a sample test before use.
