“SLX” type elevators are a conventional side door collar type elevator for handling casing, tubing, and drill collars. There are three types ranging from 65 ton to 350 ton capacity and converting pipe sizes from 2 3/8” to 30” OD.

The SLX-series elevators handle all sizes of collar-type tubing, drill pipe and casing. The SLX has a shielded safety latch mounted on the elevator door.
The shield protects the latch from accidental opening. Both latches operate from a single handle, and then automatically reach when the
elevator door is closed.
