An overview of the
WGZ-XT bacterial turbidimeter is mainly used to determine the bacterial concentration in the suspension of the strain to be identified. The instrument is calibrated with (BaSO4) McFarland turbidity standard solution and McFarland turbidity unit. Direct display of the McGraw-unit turbidity value. It is suitable for the determination of bacterial liquid concentration in medical and health units, biological products, quarantine institutions and scientific research institutions.
Principle of instrument:
The basic principle is that after the sample is placed in the measuring device, the light beam emitted by the light source forms scattered light when it meets the bacterial particles. The resulting 90° scattered light's turbidity signal is received by the photosensitive element, and the light signal is amplified by the circuit and processed by the monolithic microcomputer to display the measured Macmillan's turbidity value.
