Bipolar Tripolar Multipolar concentric cable
1.APPLICATION
It covers circular and flat, single, twin, three or four XLPE insulated conductors with a concentric conductor over the assembly of cores, rated 0.6/1KV, used in service entrances replacing low voltage bundled cables.
2.CONSTRUCTION
Conductor: stranded copper wires class B according to ASTM B 8 and UL 854
Insulation: XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene),
Color black for bipolar cable
Color black, blue and red applied for more than one phase core cable
Concentric Conductor: Single layer of copper wires served as the neutral conductor, equal to the equivalent AWG size of the power conductor
Separator Tape:A separator tape is applied overtop the helically applied neutral conductor wires. The tape acts as a reinforcing bedding for the PVC jacket.
Sheath:A PVC jacket is extruded overtop of the cable assembly.
