Mexico's First Anti-dumping Review on Galvanized Steel Wire Mesh Made in China!

On November 4, 2020, the Ministry of economic affairs of Mexico issued an announcement in the official gazette, making the first sunset review final determination on the galvanized steel wire mesh (Spanish: Malla o TELA galvanizada de alambre de Acero al carb ó n), and decided to extend the anti-dumping duty determined in the original final determination notice for five years with effect from October 10, 2019. The tigie tax numbers of the products involved were 7314.19.02, 7314.19.03 and 7314.31.01.

On October 9, 2014, Mexico announced in the official gazette that it made the final anti-dumping determination on the galvanized steel wire mesh of carbon steel originating in China, and decided to impose an anti-dumping duty of US $2.08/kg on the products involved. On September 27, 2019, the Ministry of economic affairs of Mexico announced in the official gazette that, in response to the application of deacero, s.a.p.i. de C.V., the Mexican enterprise, decided to launch the first sunset review investigation on the products involved in the case originated from China. The dumping investigation period of the case is from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019, and the injury investigation period is from July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2019.
